What’s happening
We have a treat for one of our younger players. A parent has generously donated a near brand new portable basketball hoop to the club which we would like to give away in a competition!
The hoop reaches up to 7 foot 6 inches, is very light and comes apart easily to transport and store. The whole stylish unit is worth over £75 new.
How and when to enter
To enter, all your player needs to do is come up with a new mnemonic for what they feel the word ‘PIRANHAS’ represents to them. For example the word ‘BALL’ could be; Basket-side / Always ready / Lots of energy / Love the game!
You can either download and print a copy of the form we have provided using the button below, or your player can be super imaginative and design something themselves.
Entries can be handed in at the club to a coach, or sent by email to Coach John on/by 29th January.
What happens with the winning entry
The winning entry will be posted up on our social media channels, and also on our website, to represent our club at the younger player level.
Who is eligible to enter
As the hoop height reaches just under the height of our smallest white goals at the club, entries are only valid for those in our Kinder groups.
How the winner will be chosen
The entries will be reviewed and decided by the coaching team. We shall be looking for entries that represent the fun yet educational way our club runs.
When the winner will be chosen
The winner will be chosen on 31st January, and announced in our February newsletter. Collection will be by prior arrangement from the Bourne Academy, any weekend during February.
