ABOUT UNDER 12S

The Under 12s (U12s) practice sessions is £25 per month and are aimed at players around 10-11 years old. These sessions currently run Sundays 1500-1600 at our indoor court at Rossmore Leisure Centre.

The Dorset Basketball Association (DBA) run local league matches on Sundays once a month, from October until April. Our U12 team practice sessions will be for players that wish to learn team drills, plays and team concepts in order to compete with these other local league teams, in the following 2021/22 season. Thus the 2020/21 season is for us to learn and grow together as a team before facing the competition as our brand new U14 team! 

Each player who will belong to the new U14 team will be provided their own Basketball England license number and be adequately insured to play matches. The player’s monthly fee will cover these and all other playing fees. We will also ensure each player gets adequate playing time in matches for a great local league basketball experience.
